The reigning NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers could bolster their already stellar defense, with one of the premier defensive players in the NFL.

The 49ers are among the teams reportedly interested in trading for New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, according to Yahoo! Sports Thursday. The report also suggests the Atlanta Falcons could make a run at Revis as well.

However, conflicting reports from ESPN have said San Francisco is not currently interested in consummating a trade for Revis.
